Typhoon Club is delighted to announce a series of seminars for teachers in secondary schools in Hong Kong as part of its ongoing commitment to help enhance and support the process of teaching and learning English.
With many changes in the school system, there is a growing need for schools to take charge of curriculum development on a school-based level. Many schools want to re-examine the structure of their curriculum and review the resources used to deliver it, so that the learning and teaching of English can be made more relevant to the needs and aspirations of all students and effective in meeting school-based, value-added education targets. The process involved in achieving a school-based curriculum is the primary focus of our series of seminars, with a range of sessions covering both junior and new senior secondary levels.
The sessions aim to build an awareness of the major issues surrounding the implementation of school-based curriculum development and to equip teachers with the necessary information and skills to begin constructing your school’s own school-based curriculum package.
