Typhoon Club Writing & Speaking Courses
Typhoon Club has been implementing its Writing
Course and Speaking Programmes in a wide
variety of primary and secondary schools during
term time and school holidays since 2004. During
the course, students are taught by native English
teachers how to write their own magazine or how
to prepare for public presentations and debates.
Writing Courses
At the end of each lesson, each student’s written
work is collected, typed, edited and scanned into
a 16-page, full colour magazine. Over 75 different
topics are available to choose from for each
course and courses can be specifically designed
to cater for every school’s requirements.
Speaking Courses
Over the course, students are prepared by the Typhoon Club native English teacher to make a presentation or to participate in a debate. A wide variety of topics from Typhoon Club are selected as core materials and students are actively encouraged to express verbally their views and opinions. This course is ideal for schools who wish to develop their students' oral skills and to develop their confidence in an English speaking forum.
